Interspersing dreamlike text and live music, "His Hands Make an Army; His Hands Make a Hospital" explores familial relationships and detachment in a story of a brother and sister from a New Mexican farm in an era of rapid industrialization and alienating foreign conflict, told though a mix of puppetry and other performance.
